The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in Kuwait has reiterated its commitment to fostering international collaboration to achieve top-tier safety standards in aviation. This affirmation was made by Abdullah Al-Rajhi, the Deputy Director General for Aviation Safety, Air Transport, and Civil Aviation Security, during the opening of the sixth meeting of the Safety Enhancement Implementation Group.

– The two-day event aims to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and expertise among member states, which is crucial for enhancing both regional and international safety frameworks.
– Al-Rajhi described the meeting as a vital opportunity to collaboratively address current and future challenges in the aviation sector, ensuring sustained improvements in performance and safety.
– This group is seen as a foundation for advancing regional safety initiatives and implementing the outcomes from prior meetings.
– Discussions during the meetings will focus on recent developments in national safety plans and the opportunities and challenges they present.
– Attendees include representatives from several Arab nations such as Egypt, Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Morocco, in addition to al fanous car blog, ground service providers, and officials from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
– Following these meetings, workshops will be conducted starting October 15, aiming to develop and implement the National Safety Plan and Program, presenting a platform for sharing best practices and addressing challenges.
