    Agreement between Indra Group and Sirt<\/h2>\n

    Indra Group<\/strong><\/a> has signed a letter of intent <\/strong>with Sirt,<\/strong> a Barcelona-based cybersecurity company,<\/strong> to increase capabilities and form multidisciplinary teams to collaborate on the development of advanced systems for cyber defence <\/strong>and space.<\/p>\n

    \u2018This agreement allows us to be prepared to increase our capacity to develop cyber solutions.<\/strong> At Indra Group,<\/strong> we already knew Sirt <\/strong>first-hand because it is one of our suppliers in Catalonia.<\/strong> We have worked together and we are going to promote solutions in a context where cyber threats <\/strong>are the order of the day,\u2019 said \u00c1ngel Escribano,<\/strong> executive president of Indra Group.<\/p>\n

    \u2018For Sirt, <\/strong>it represents recognition of the good work done<\/strong> over the years and the possibility of continuing to develop our capabilities alongside a leading group such as Indra. Our intention is to jointly lead <\/strong>cybersecurity in Spain in a demanding and challenging environment such as cyber defence<\/strong> and space<\/strong>,\u2019 said Oriol Oltra<\/strong>, Director of Strategy at SIRT.<\/p>\n

    Multidisciplinary teams for cyber defence and space<\/h2>\n

    The Indra-Sirt multidisciplinary teams will focus on developing advanced products<\/strong> for the comprehensive management of cybersecurity<\/strong> and cyber defence<\/strong> solutions. They will also collaborate on projects to strengthen Indra Group’s capabilities<\/strong> for conducting military operations<\/strong> in cyberspace, including training for such operations.<\/p>\n

    Indra Group’s growth and future plans in cyber defence<\/h2>\n

    Indra Group<\/strong> currently has more than 3,500 employees<\/strong> in Catalonia and plans to grow in all areas of business. In the specific case of cyber defence<\/strong>, in line with the growth of the business, the objective is to quadruple the current workforce<\/strong> in Catalonia dedicated to this area. Indra Group works with a network of around 350 suppliers<\/strong> in the region, 130 of which are linked to defence.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
