    The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky<\/strong><\/a>, and \u00c1ngel Escribano, Executive President of Indra Group<\/strong><\/a>, a world leader in advanced technology, aerospace, mobility and defence, discussed expanding collaboration in this sector, <\/strong>particularly in the areas of advanced radars, air defence and anti-drone systems, during a visit to Indra Group’s headquarters in Madrid (Spain).<\/p>\n

    The aim of the visit, which was also attended by Spanish Defence Minister<\/strong> Margarita Robles and Indra Group CEO Jos\u00e9 Vicente de los Mozos, was to develop joint projects <\/strong>to strengthen Ukraine’s capabilities and consolidate long-term support for the country. Discussions also focused on how Indra Group can contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine and the well-being of its population through new technologies in mobility, air traffic management, etc.<\/p>\n

    \u00c1ngel Escribano, Executive Chairman of Indra Group, stressed the importance of increasing defence cooperation<\/strong> with Ukraine as a means of strengthening European security: <\/strong>\u2018Indra Group is a global leader in the defence market, and our will and determination are to maintain strong alliances with the Ukrainian government and key players in the local industry. The closer this relationship, the safer Europe will be.\u2019<\/p>\n

    Jos\u00e9 Vicente de los Mozos, CEO of Indra Group, highlighted the need to expand bilateral cooperation<\/strong> in areas such as air defence, counter-drone systems and advanced radars: \u2018Indra’s cutting-edge solutions for aerospace and land defence systems can help strengthen the Ukrainian defence industry and advance its technological independence.<\/strong> We want to be part of the reconstruction efforts as soon as conditions allow.\u2019<\/p>\n

    Following a private meeting with the Ukrainian authorities, Indra demonstrated its commitment as a leading company in the Spanish defence industry<\/strong> by organising the first \u2018Spain-Ukraine Industrial and Technological Meeting\u2019, an open forum between President Zelensky and representatives of the Spanish defence industry to discuss how to strengthen collaboration between the two industries, an initiative that has the strong support of the Spanish government. In addition, both parties have committed to removing obstacles, promoting cooperation <\/strong>and protecting shared technologies through various initiatives. Representatives from the following Spanish companies participated in the meeting: Arquimea Group, Centum, EM&E Group, FECSA, GMV, Instalaza, Marine Instruments, Meltio, Oesia, Sener, Tecnove and Urovesa, as well as the Indra Group itself.<\/p>\n

    Accompanied by Spanish Defence Minister Margarita Robles<\/strong> and representatives from Indra, President Zelensky was able to see first-hand various defence systems, including:<\/p>\n

    • LTR-25: <\/strong>a unique radar in its segment and one of the most advanced in use by the Armed Forces. It is a tactical 3D air surveillance system, defined by software and deployable.\u00a0Designed to detect and track targets in adverse environments with friend-or-foe identification (IFF), in air defence network missions and early warning against threats such as aircraft, drones or tactical missiles. It allows for rapid transport (by road, air or sea) and deployment in less than an hour and a half.<\/li>\n
    • C-UAS ARACNE: <\/strong>comprehensive solution for detecting, tracking and neutralising UAS threats. It has a command and control centre that ensures interoperability with other platforms. It includes an advanced set of sensors: radio frequency detector, radar for drone detection and electro-optical camera for positive visual identification. It incorporates a soft kill inhibitor and a hard kill weapon station.<\/li>\n
    • ODIN-I: <\/strong>modular, multi-effect system with a remotely controlled weapon station that allows for multiple deployment and mobility options. It can be installed on a military support vehicle or a towing system, facilitating its deployment in the field. Capable of performing a wide range of functions, such as protection against short-range land, air and sea threats, with high operational precision.<\/li>\n
    • UGV+Nemus: <\/strong>UGV capable of accessing complex areas equipped with compact NEMUS AESA radar, with projectile and drone detection capabilities. This radar is designed to be integrated into fixed or mobile C-UAS systems and future combat vehicles. The modular platform can integrate remote weapon stations and various payloads.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n
