Hotels and restaurants accounted for 5.71 percent, ahead of information and communication technologies at 2.89 percent, financial activities at 1.86 percent and agriculture and fisheries at 1.78 percent.<\/p>\n<p>By region, Casablanca Settat led with 33,959 new businesses, ahead of Tangier Tetouan Al Hoceima with 15,286 and Rabat Sale Kenitra with 13,983.
