The results of Iberdrola\u2019s \u2018Plan il lumina\u2019 were presented during an official event held<\/strong> at the company\u2019s premises in Torrent, which served as<\/strong> the operations centre during the DANA and have been key to the subsequent reconstruction plan.<\/p>\nDuring his speech, the company\u2019s chief executive, Ignacio Gal\u00e1n, reiterated<\/strong> Iberdrola\u2019s commitment to developing robust networks that incorporate<\/strong> the latest digital technologies and help drive the electrification of the Valencian Community, its competitiveness and the creation of opportunities for society.<\/p>\n\u201cToday we can say unequivocally that we have laid the foundations for<\/strong> Valencia to have the best electricity infrastructure,\u201d said<\/strong> Ignacio Gal\u00e1n, who took the opportunity to remember the victims of the disaster and to thank the company\u2019s staff and those of its partner organisations for their work during the DANA emergency and in the subsequent Plan il\u00b7lumina.<\/p>\n\u201cThat is the legacy of the \u2018Plan il\u00b7lumina\u2019:<\/strong> to reaffirm our commitment to the Valencian Community, so that<\/strong> it can reap all the benefits of electrification in terms of energy security and self-sufficiency, competitiveness and sustainability,\u201d concluded the chairman.<\/p>\nSocial initiatives<\/h2>\n
