On Tuesday, November 4th<\/strong> at 13:09 local time, Emirates\u2019 first flight arrived in Edinburgh after four and a half years<\/strong>. The airline will offer a daily frequency from\/to Dubai with Boeing 777-200(LR) aircraft configured for 302 passengers in two classes, a different schedule than originally planned.<\/span><\/p>\n

Emirates had suspended services to the Scottish capital in March 2020<\/strong> as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Last May,<\/strong> when announcing its return to Edinburgh, Emirates was scheduled to operate from Dubai using Airbus A350-900s, which the airline intended to add in September.<\/strong> Due to delivery delays, at publication time, services will continue to be operated on 777-200(LR) until at least mid-January 2025,<\/strong> when A350-900 flights would commence.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ample cargo capacity will also help support more industries across Scotland \u2013 offering more efficient and reliable transport solutions for businesses across the region to access international markets more quickly to meet demand. Iberia<\/strong> took delivery of its first Airbus A321XLR<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

On October 30th,<\/strong> the first Airbus A321XLR was delivered.<\/span><\/p>\n

The plane, with registration EC-OIL, landed at 17:27 local time at Madrid-Barajas airport in the Spanish capital from Hamburg (XFW) on its delivery ferry flight, which lasted 2 hours and 23 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Iberia becomes the first airline to incorporate this aircraft, being the first A321XLR of the original order of eight. The Spanish company decided to configure its Airbus A321XLR for 182 passengers in two classes (14 Business<\/strong> and 168 Economy).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As can be seen through our database, at the time of publication, Barcelona, Paris and Stockholm were the destinations for the Airbus A321-253NY, all to\/from Madrid, and schedules to start flights to the United States on November 14th.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
