Benali called for a comprehensive approach to sustainability that considers not only environmental factors but also social and economic dimensions.<\/span><\/p>\n Reducing energy costs is a strategic objective for Morocco, according to Benali. The country aims to achieve this through economies of scale and significant investments designed to enhance efficiency and strengthen Morocco\u2019s energy competitiveness.<\/span><\/p>\n Benali pointed out that with an electrification rate of 99.8%, Morocco is well-positioned to contribute to improving energy access across Africa, where 600 million people still lack electricity.<\/span><\/p>\n The 2025 Munich Security Conference, a high-level platform dedicated to addressing major challenges in foreign policy and international security, kicked off on Friday in the Bavarian capital.
