The Moroccan government has launched a series of targeted initiatives to revitalize the youth sector, focusing on training, volunteerism, and the integration of young entrepreneurs into the national economy, said Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Mohammed Mehdi Bensaid, during the weekly oral questions session held on April 14, 2025, in the House of Representatives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The minister highlighted\u00a0 the centrality of youth in government priorities, including multidimensional approaches that combine services across key sectors to meet the aspirations of a new generation.<\/span><\/p>\n Bensaid emphasized that training remains a critical demand among young people, with opportunities rolled out nationwide through the OFPPT.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Simultaneously, volunteerism is being actively promoted, with the introduction of youth awards recognizing civic engagement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n New support measures also target the integration of young entrepreneurs, notably through a recent decree facilitating access to the market for very small, small, and medium-sized enterprises (TPMEs).<\/span><\/p>\n Addressing socioeconomic challenges, Bensaid acknowledged the legacy of ineffective public policies but affirmed that tangible progress is now visible, citing the enrollment of over one million young people in the \u201cPass Jeunes\u201d program.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n For the 2024\u20132025 period, the government has launched a national call for projects aimed at youth-focused associations, resulting in over 7,000 partnership agreements and an ongoing re-equipment plan for 150 youth centers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The launch of the \u201canimateur.ma\u201d platform and the creation of thematic volunteer clubs aim to further empower youth engagement.<\/span><\/p>\n Cultural and artistic programs will be expanded nationally, while the rehabilitation of youth infrastructure, initiated under the 2021\u20132022 plan, is nearing completion, with the promise that all youth centers will be fully operational by year\u2019s end.<\/span><\/p>\n On the communication front, Bensaid announced the relaunch of the ministry\u2019s website and the creation of the portal www.maroc.ma to ensure transparent, centralized access to public information.
