“I’d say that while much remains uncertain, of course, United’s portfolio would be impacted. But in our view, it would be impacted a lot less than just about everybody else,” he said during a call with analysts.
Kirby added that MileagePlus credit cardholders tend to have higher credit scores and don’t default on payments.
“These factors make us different than most non-airline co-brand programs and maybe even a lot different from a lot of other airline co-brand programs,” he said.
