Frontier Airlines CEO James Dempsey said Wednesday the carrier is looking to sustain its profits while sticking to the traditional ultra-low-cost model.
Dempsey, who became CEO in January, said the plan would entail right sizing Frontier’s fleet, cutting costs, reducing cancellations and improving on-time performance, and boosting customer loyalty.
The carrier is also looking to launch in-flight Wi-Fi and continue roll out of first class seats between this year and 2027. Former CEO Barry Biffle told Skift in September that the carrier was considering adding in-flight connectivity.
