Delta Air Lines is gearing up for an extensive international expansion in Europe, set to take flight by summer 2025. As part of this expansion, Delta plans to launch what will be its most significant transatlantic summer schedule to date, featuring over 700 weekly flights to 33 destinations across Europe. The primary departure cities for these new services include Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis, and New York JFK, utilizing Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300, and Boeing 767-300(ER) aircraft.
In addition to the substantial increase in flight frequency, Delta is also enhancing its premium offerings. More of its Airbus A330s and A350s will feature Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin options. Notable new routes include services from Detroit to Dublin, Boston to Barcelona, and New York JFK to Catania.

- Detroit – Dublin: Starting May 7th, 2025, flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
- Boston – Barcelona: Launching May 22nd, 2025, with flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
- New York JFK – Catania: Daily flights starting May 22nd, 2025.
- Atlanta – Naples: Service begins May 23rd, 2025, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
- Boston – Milan: Starting May 23rd, 2025, with frequency on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
- Minneapolis – Rome: New flights commence on May 23rd, 2025, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
- Atlanta – Brussels: Flights to begin June 10th, 2025, scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Additionally, Delta’s efforts will see new services being introduced to cities like Barcelona, Brussels, Catania, Dublin, Naples, and Rome, with Italy being a key focus area for this expansion.
