Tunisian coach Lassad Chabbi has been appointed as the new head coach of Raja Casablanca, the Moroccan club announced, following the departure of Hafid Abdessadek.
Chabbi, who previously led Raja to CAF Confederation Cup and Arab Club Champions Cup titles, returns to the club as it struggles for form.
The Casablanca giants were eliminated in the group stage of the CAF Champions League and sit eighth in Morocco’s top-flight Botola Pro D1 with 25 points.
Raja thanked Abdessadek for his service, but did not disclose details regarding his departure.
