KUWAIT CITY, May 10: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, attended the signing of contracts between three government entities and the Turkish company Limak to complete the final phases of the new Kuwait International Airport passenger terminal (T2). The signing ceremony was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah, Defense Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Public Works Minister Dr. Nora Mohammad Al-Mashaan and Amiri Diwan Undersecretary Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Mishaal Al-Sabah, along with senior officials. Completion of the new airport terminal comes within the state’s direction to develop vital facilities and enhance infrastructure efficiency in line with Kuwait’s future development vision.
The project is expected to significantly increase Kuwait International Airport’s capacity, improve travel experience and passenger services, and strengthen cargo and logistics capabilities to support trade, tourism and investment.
