Those behind the appeal underpinned that fans can support the team in safe and responsible ways, either from within Morocco or through media coverage and social media platforms, without risking travel to what they describe as an “environment lacking clear official guarantees for the protection and rights of visiting supporters,” newspaper “Layoune Now” reported.
The appeal also said that fan safety is the top priority and that true support does not depend solely on stadium attendance. Instead, organizers argued that responsible and aware backing best preserves dignity and security while reflecting a civilized image of Moroccan supporters.
AS FAR will rely on its continental experience and long history to secure a positive result away from home, despite limited fan attendance, the appeal said.
