Morocco’s investment and export agency (AMDIE) has partnered with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to make the Kingdom’s economic brand, “Morocco Now,” an official sponsor of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), running from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, Morocco’s Press Agency (MAP) reported.
The partnership will use the tournament as an international platform to showcase Morocco’s modern economy, stable governance, and infrastructure.
AMDIE highlighted that the collaboration aligns with King Mohammed VI’s vision of leveraging sport to drive economic development, create jobs, boost investment and exports, and strengthen social cohesion and continental ties.
The signing ceremony in Rabat brought together key figures, including Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, AMDIE Director-General Ali Seddiki, and CAF President Patrice Motsepe.
