The Senegalese Football Federation said on Saturday it has formally accepted the sanctions imposed by the Confederation of African Football following disciplinary decision No. DC23315, issued on Jan. 28, 2026, by CAF’s Disciplinary Committee.
The federation said it had decided, after reviewing the decision, not to pursue an appeal against either the sporting sanctions or the financial fines imposed.
The decision also covers individual sanctions handed down to national team coach Pape Thiaw and players Ismaila Sarr and Iliman Ndiaye, with the federation confirming its full acceptance of the disciplinary measures.
Despite accepting the ruling, the federation said it remains committed to defending its legitimate rights and interests within continental football bodies, while fully respecting CAF’s regulations and statutes.
