When you’re in Marrakech, especially in summertime or if you’re traveling with kids, you might want to spend a day by a pool. Maybe your accommodation doesn’t have one. Maybe you want something bigger. Or you just want one day to relax – swimming, eating, resting.
Maybe you booked a riad with a “pool” and it turned out to be the size of a bathtub. Or you’re traveling with kids who need to burn energy somewhere. Or it’s July/August and 40°C outside. Or you just want one full day when you’re not exploring souks, not walking around, not doing anything – just swimming, eating, and sitting still.
That’s where day passes come in. You show up, pay a fee, get access to a real pool – one that’s actually big, has shade, has food, has space. You don’t need a hotel room. You’re just there for the afternoon or the day. It’s cheaper than you’d think.
Winter is different. November through April, Marrakech is cool. Not cold, but not pool weather unless the water is heated. Some places heat, some don’t. Always call and ask, because if the swimmingpool is not heated – ahhh not sure.

Mandarin Oriental – Pool Garden Day Pass
This is the top option if you want to spend the day somewhere really beautiful. I’ve taken clients here. The pool is huge, the gardens are peaceful, and you forget you’re in a city.

Why pick it: If you want to spend a real day somewhere quiet and nice. The food is good. You won’t feel rushed.
Sofitel Marrakech Palais Royal
A nice resort at the edge of the Palmeraie with views to the Atlas. They have three pools and one is just for day-pass people.
What’s included: Three-course lunch, the pool, transat, towel, 200 MAD credit for spa treatments.
Price: 1,400 MAD (about €130) per person. Half price kids under 12.
Heated pool: Yes
Why pick it: If you’re traveling with family or a group and want pool + spa in one place. It’s nice but not overwhelming.
Park Hyatt Marrakech
About 15 minutes from the medina. The design is modern Moroccan, and they have three pools. The Atlas views are there all day.
What’s included: Pool access, private bed, three-course lunch.
Price: Changes by season. Summer is pricier than winter.
Heated pool: Yes (in winter)
Why pick it: You want modern and comfortable with mountain views. It’s not touristy.
Outside city
Manzil La Tortue – Pool Club
My favorite swimmingpool place in Marrakech. Around 40min drive in route Fez, big pool, good lunch, alcohol. It is a hotel property so can also stay there. Note: it’s for adults and kids 12+.
What’s included: Lunch (two courses—appetizer + main, or main + dessert), pool access, bed or transat, towel.
Price: From 400 MAD (about €37) per person.
Heated pool: No
The menu is Moroccan and international. The pool is what makes it – it’s actually big.
Why pick it: If you want a fun atmosphere with other travelers, good food, and a real pool day without feeling like you’re in a resort.
Oasis Lodges Marrakech
Route d’Amizmiz, about 5 minutes by taxi from the medina. The pool is lagon-style with a waterfall. Shaded everywhere.
What’s included: Pool access, transat, towel, two-course lunch (appetizer + main, or main + dessert). No drinks.
Price: 520 MAD (about €48) per person. Half price under 12.
Heated pool: Yes (seasonal heating)
Food: Salads, grilled fish, kebabs, spring rolls, desserts.
Why pick it: Easy to find. Close to town. Good price. Actual food. A solid pool day without drama.
Ksar Shama – Ouirgane
In Ouirgane, about 45 minutes south of Marrakech. Smaller, quieter alternative to the city pools. Transat + serviette included.
Two options:
- Basic day pass: 200 MAD (about €18) per person
- Day pass + lunch: 300 MAD (about €28) per person

Price: 450 MAD (about €40) per person. Half price kids 6-12.
Heated pool: No
Food is Moroccan – tagines, grilled fish.
Drive: 45 minutes from the medina.
Why pick it: You want landscape. You want quiet. Real quiet – no music, no people. The pool is the point.
Water Park for Families
Oasiria
4km from town. Eight pools, 20 slides, wave pool, lazy river, rock wall, pirate lagoon for kids.
Price: 150 MAD (about €14) per adult, 100 MAD per kid, free under 0.8m.
Heated pool: No
Food is at cafés on site – you buy it separately.
Hours: 10 AM–6 PM every day.
Tip: Book online before you go if it’s July or August. The lines get long.
Why pick it: Your kids want slides and attractions. You want them busy and safe. It works for that.
Club Med Palmeraie
In the Palmeraie. Buffet food (not pick from the menu), all drinks included, gardens, activities like archery, tennis, volleyball, golf.
Price: 840 MAD (about €78) per person.
Heated pool: Yes
You need to book activities the night before.
Why pick it: You want lots of options. Group trip. Kids playing multiple things. Buffet means you eat what you want.
