Air France will begin flying to Las Vegas on April 15th, 2026 with a regular schedule, which will be operated three times a week using Airbus A350-900 aircraft seating 324 passengers in three classes (34 seats in Business, 24 seats in Premium Economy, and 266 seats in Economy).
Vegas will become Air France’s 17th destination in the U.S., its 21st in North America, and its 39th on the continent including the Caribbean and South America. The United States is its main market, followed by Brazil, with six routes.
The French capital will join Amsterdam, Dublin, Frankfurt, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, and Manchester as Las Vegas’ connections to Europe, currently offered by KLM, Aer Lingus, Condor, Discover Airlines, British Airways, and Virgin Atlantic.

Air Canada has confirmed its first three regular routes between Canada and Europe with Airbus A321XLR aircraft, which will enter service in 2026.
According to the airline, Edinburgh, Palma de Mallorca, and Toulouse will be the first three intercontinental services for these aircraft, featuring a 162-seat configuration in two classes (14 seats in Business and 168 seats in Economy).

Currently, the Montreal-Edinburgh and Montreal-Toulouse routes are operated by Boeing 737 MAX 8 and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, respectively. Palma de Mallorca will be a new destination for Air Canada.
The airline will serve three cities in Spain, Barcelona, Madrid, and Palma de Mallorca, with the first two being conducted by wide-body aircraft.
The Venezuelan state-owned airline will add a second destination in Russia with the introduction of St. Petersburg, planned to begin on November 14th. In accordance with its website, Conviasa will operate the Caracas – Varadero – St. Petersburg route and vice versa by Airbus A340-600 aircraft, configured for 311 passengers.
These flights, as with its Caracas–Moscow–Guangzhou service, will operate bi-weekly, departing from the Venezuelan capital on Fridays and leaving the Russian city on Mondays.
In November, the Caracas–Moscow Vnukovo–Guangzhou service performs on the same days with the same aircraft, during the week when it does not operate to Varadero and St. Petersburg. Conviasa plans to increase to a weekly frequency to Moscow and Guangzhou on December 5th.
The US airline has announced the addition of new routes between the United States and Europe starting in April 2026.
United will fly to Bari, Glasgow, Santiago de Compostela, and Split from Newark, in Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Croatia, respectively, with two of these routes scheduled to be operated by narrow-body aircraft.

On October 26th at 15:07 local time, IndiGo’s inaugural flight departed from Mumbai to Heathrow Airport, marking the start of its second regular route in the India-UK market.
IndiGo will operate five times a week with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, which feature the Indian airline titles but are owned by Norse Atlantic Airways.

As of March 30th, 2026, LOT Polish Airlines will begin operating three new routes within Europe, to be flown to/from Krakow by 186/189-seat Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
Chicago O’Hare, Istanbul, Paris Orly, and Tel Aviv are its current destinations from Krakow, excluding domestic the two routes within Poland (Olsztyn and Warsaw).
Swiss International Air Lines incorporated its first Airbus A350-900, which arrived at Kloten Airport on October 9th from Toulouse, brand new from the factory.
The aircraft, registered as HB-IFA, landed in Zurich at 15:26 local time after a two-and-a-half-hour ferry flight, which included a flight alongside Swiss Air Force aircraft. Over the next few days, the aircraft made several test flights in Taranto, Italy, entering regular service on October 25th with flight LX 2152 between Zurich and Palma de Mallorca, as you can see in this video on our YouTube channel.
Zurich-Boston will be the aircraft’s first intercontinental route, starting on November 20th, and Zurich-Montreal will commence on February 23rd, 2026.

Riyadh Air, the new Saudi airline based in Riyadh, launched its first regular route on October 26th.
At 03:26 local time that day, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, registration HZ-RXX, departed King Khalid International Airport bound for London Heathrow, where it landed at 07:14 local time after a 6-hour and 48-minute flight.
The company will operate a daily frequency on this service with its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner configured for 288 passengers. Riyadh Air has a firm order for 39 Boeing 787-9s, with options for 33 more.

Effective October 2026, Delta will initiate its first route between the United States and Saudi Arabia (Atlanta – Riyadh), to be operated by its Airbus A350-900 aircraft, featuring four product experiences on board: Delta One®, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main.
The airline will be the first U.S. carrier to serve this market, joining Saudi Arabian Airlines, currently flying to New York JFK, and Washington, D.C., from Jeddah and Riyadh.

Starting June 3rd, 2026, Brussels Airlines will begin flights to Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) on a triangular route with Kenya’s capital, Nairobi. According to its website, the company will offer two weekly flights on the Brussels – Kilimanjaro – Nairobi – Brussels route with Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
