Chinese rubber manufacturer Shandong Yongsheng has announced plans to build a major tire production plant in Morocco, with an annual output capacity of 6 million semi-steel radial tires.
The facility will supply key international markets, including Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
Chinese media report that the plant will rely on internationally advanced production technology and equipment to deliver high-quality semi-steel radial tires.
The move is part of Yongsheng’s broader global expansion strategy, which includes building “Factory 4.0” smart facilities and launching technical testing centers across Asia and Europe.
The company, based in China’s Shandong province, invested heavily in plant upgrades in 2024 and is accelerating its overseas footprint with planned investments in Europe, Latin America, and now North Africa.
