Morocco’s trade balance with France, its second-largest trading partner, recorded a surplus of 15.9 billion dirhams in 2024, up from 11.9 MMDH the previous year, according to the Foreign Exchange Office.
In its 2024 annual report on Morocco’s foreign trade, the office noted that trade balance with France has been in surplus since 2017. By contrast, the trade balance with Spain, Morocco’s leading trading partner, continued to show a deficit, amounting to 18.2 billion dirhams the same year.
