Moroccan winger Mohamed Ounajem has joined Egyptian Premier League newcomers Kahrabaa Ismailia on a two-year deal, the club confirmed on Sunday.
The 32-year-old spent nine seasons at Wydad Casablanca. His first move outside Morocco came in 2019 when he signed with Cairo giants Zamalek SC. Over two seasons, he made 64 appearances, scoring five goals and providing ten assists, helping the club lift four major trophies in continental competitions.
After a brief spell in Libya during the 2024-2025 season, Ounajem returned to Egypt.
The club’s management described the move as part of a broader effort to inject experience and depth into the squad. With Ounajem’s proven record in African football and familiarity with the Egyptian league, he is expected to play a key role as the team looks to establish itself among the country’s elite.
