Electric vehicle maker Tesla appears set to enter Morocco, marking its first move into the African continent. A new company job listing for a Country Sales & Delivery Leader based in Casablanca suggests that Tesla is preparing to launch operations in the North African kingdom.
The posting, shared by Tesla influencer Sawyer Merritt, describes the role as overseeing sales, delivery, and market growth across the country while acting as “an ambassador for Tesla.” The candidate will also be responsible for hiring and training local teams.
The job offer follows Tesla’s registration in Morocco in July with an initial investment of 2.75 million dollars, according to The Habari Network.
