Morocco’s teams are making a strong showing at the 7th edition of the FIFCO World Corporate Champions Cup, held for the first time in Africa at the Maracana Sports Complex in Fes and running from October 23 to 26.
Four Moroccan squads have advanced so far, with two from the +25 category reaching the quarterfinals and one from the +35 securinga a spot in the semifinals.
The +25 Ventec team, three-time winners of the National Corporate Championship (2023, 2024, 2025) and World Cup qualifiers in Crete, are making their first official appearance in this edition of the FIFCO World Corporate Champions Cup.
Abdelhak Baizakh, coach of the Ventec teams representing Morocco, told Hespress English that their experience at the 2025 edition of FIFCO has been very positive so far.
The +25 Ventec squad played three matches, defeating Brazil (5–1), England (4–1), and India (4-3), to advance to the quarterfinals, while the +35 team won two out of three games, securing a spot in the semifinals.
“Our teams have strong players, but the competition will be tough on the final day given the level of the other teams. Still, our chances remain high,” said Baizakh.
He noted that Morocco’s consecutive achievements in football motivate companies to encourage their teams to get involved in sports, creating connections and social bonds between organizations.
“We are already receiving congratulatory messages from people in other cities,” Baizakh said.
The team received strong support during the second day of the tournament, with their vice president, general director, and some spectators coming from Fes to cheer them on.
Baizakh revealed that two buses of supporters are expected from Casablanca to back the players in tomorrow’s matches.
Rabie Ammari, from Ansamble Maroc (+25 category), also told Hespress English that their team shared a positive experience at the 7th edition of FIFCO.
“We managed to win two matches and qualify for the next round, along with Oman. We hope to face strong competition in the upcoming quarterfinals, semifinals, and final,” he said.

This is their first time participating in such an event. “Reaching the quarterfinals is already an achievement for us, and we aim to go even further,” he added.
Ammari highlighted that their journey began at the local level in the Fes-Meknes region, where they achieved good results that allowed them to compete nationally and eventually qualify for the international tournament.
“This experience has given us a lot, meeting new people and enjoying a fresh environment,” he said, noting that playing together on the field lets them leave professional life behind, forget about their job titles, and focus on building their sporting bond, sharing a single goal, and working together to achieve it.
