HCP announces that data collection has finalized.

  • The High Commission for Planning (HCP) has announced that the data collection phase for Morocco’s 7th General Population and Housing Census (RGPH) has officially wrapped up as of midnight on Monday.

  • Households throughout the country actively participated in this important census, showcasing a commendable level of engagement from the Moroccan public, according to a statement from the nation’s press agency, MAP.

  • The data gathered during this period has been securely digitized at a newly established centralized Data Management Center and is now entering the analysis phase.

  • HCP expressed appreciation for the commitment of all researchers, observers, and supervisors involved in the census, highlighting their adherence to ethical standards and respect for local customs.

  • Additionally, HCP acknowledged the vital support from local authorities and security services, which played a key role in the successful implementation of this extensive national operation.
