Morocco’s national women’s boxing team will participate in the Belgrade International Tournament, scheduled from February 4 to 10, according to Morocco’s Press Agency (MAP).
The Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation said that the national team will include Rabab Cheddar (48 kg), Yasmine Mouttaki (50 kg), Imane El Azami (52 kg), Widad Bertal (54 kg), Mounia Toutir (66 kg), Saida Lahmidi (70 kg), Hasna Larti (81 kg), and Khadija Mardi (81 kg).
The Moroccan boxers will be accompanied by a technical staff comprised of Cuban coach Juan Carlos Ferrer, Ahmed Barki, and international referee Abdelaziz Taleb.
The tournament serves as a preparatory event for the national team ahead of the Women’s Boxing World Championships, set to take place in Serbia from March 6-17.
