Moroccan runner Mohamed Chaaboud and Kenya’s Celestine Temko Kwachuwai showcased remarkable talent at the recent Poznań Marathon, marking its 23rd edition in Poland.
– The event attracted over 3,900 participants from 33 different countries.
– Chaaboud achieved an outstanding finish time of 2:10:42, making it the second-fastest in the race’s history.
– Polish athlete Andrzej Rogiewicz took second place, finishing at 2:18:22, while Ethiopia’s Kifle Melese secured third with a time of 2:21:49.
– In the women’s category, Kwachuwai dominated the event, earning the top position.
– Argentina’s Daiana Ocampo claimed second place, followed closely by Poland’s Izabela Paszkiewicz in third.
The event successfully highlighted the competitive spirit and athletic prowess of participants from around the globe.
