Morocco held their first training session on Monday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex under new head coach Mohamed Ouahbi as the national team began preparations for upcoming friendlies.
The session lasted around 90 minutes, with the coaching staff focusing mainly on physical recovery work as well as light ball drills, in what the federation described as an atmosphere of discipline and focus.
The camp marks the start of a new phase for the Atlas Lions under Ouahbi, who is seeking to impose his technical and tactical approach while preserving balance within the squad.
Morocco are due to face Ecuador in an international friendly on Friday, March 27, at Madrid’s Metropolitano Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 2015 GMT.
They will then play Paraguay on Tuesday, March 31, at Stade Bollaert Delelis in Lens, France, from 1900 GMT.
The two matches form part of Morocco’s preparations for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
