KUWAIT CITY, May 21: A decades-old citizenship file has exploded into one of the most intricate forgery scandals uncovered in Kuwait, exposing a web of false lineage, fabricated identities, and dozens of illegitimate beneficiaries.
Investigations led by the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship, in coordination with the Citizenship Investigation Department, traced the case back to a man born in the 1930s who had three wives.
