Qatar Chamber has announced the first edition of the International Exhibition on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Technologies (ROBOTECH), set to take place in Doha from 27 to 29 October 2026, during a press conference held at its headquarters.
The event will be organised with the Chamber’s official backing and is expected to become a major platform for emerging and advanced technologies in the region.
Senior officials attended the announcement, including the Chamber’s First Vice Chairman Mohamed bin Twar Al Kuwari, Acting General Manager Ali Bu Sherbak Al Mansori, alongside representatives of the organising company Stallion, led by General Manager Haitham Shehab, and Exhibition Manager Ling Li.
ROBOTECH aligns closely with Qatar’s Digital Agenda 2030, which prioritises digital transformation, information technology and innovation as key drivers of economic growth.
According to Qatar News Agency report, the exhibition is designed to support the development of artificial intelligence, robotics and related technologies that strengthen the digital economy and build sustainable, future ready capabilities.
The event is expected to attract leading international and regional companies working across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, smart mobility, logistics, education, cybersecurity, fintech, food security, industrial technologies, smart cities and environmental solutions, reflecting the broad application of AI and robotics.
Al Kuwari noted that Qatar has made significant progress in the information technology sector, ranking among the world’s top 20 countries in the 2025 Digital Competitiveness Index issued by the International Institute for Management Development.
He said this progress demonstrates Qatar’s commitment to innovation-led growth under Qatar National Vision 2030, where digital advancement plays a central role in sustainable development.
“Qatar Chamber’s support for this exhibition is part of its strategy and is one of the activities of the Qatari Business Council after its restructuring. The exhibition also contributes to strengthening the integrated partnership between the public and private sectors”, he added.
The Qatar Business Council will encourage local companies and entrepreneurs to engage in the conference programme accompanying the exhibition, with panel discussions, dialogue sessions, seminars and workshops aimed at fostering trade links, investment opportunities and long-term strategic partnerships with international firms.
Acting General Manager Al Mansori described the exhibition as a valuable opportunity for Qatari and global companies to explore cooperation, stressing that innovation and artificial intelligence are increasingly recognised as core engines of economic growth and competitiveness.
General Manager of Stallion, noted that ROBOTECH 26 will occupy 15,000 square meters facilitating extensive international participation. It is designed as the premier platform to discover cutting-edge technologies and catalyze public-private partnerships in this high-growth sector.
