Morocco’s women’s national football team will play Cape Verde in a friendly match on Saturday at Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat, with kickoff set for 10 p m local time.
The Atlas Lionesses come into the fixture after a two match friendly series against Burkina Faso held last week. Morocco won the first match 5 0 before drawing 1 1 in the second, results that coaching staff used to test combinations and build match fitness.
Morocco is coached by Jorge Vilda and has scheduled the Cape Verde match as part of its preparations for upcoming competitive fixtures later this year.
The federation has not provided additional details on squad selection or ticketing, but the Rabat friendly is expected to give the team another opportunity to assess players and tactical options ahead of the next international window.
