Iberdrola presented its results for the 2025 financial year with remarkable figures that continue to position the Spanish energy company as a benchmark both nationally and internationally.
According to the results presented by Iberdrola, the Spanish company posted a net profit of €6.285 billion in 2025, up 12% from the €5.6119 billion achieved the previous year.
According to the data reported on Wednesday by the company to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), Iberdrola significantly increased its financial figures. Turnover rose by 0.6% to €45.0173 billion, while gross margin rose by 1.8% to €24.2992 billion. EBITDA increased by 3.1% to £15.6844 billion, while EBITDA grew at the same rate to £9.8919 billion.
According to the report, EBITDA from its network business grew at a rate of 21% due to the larger base of regulated assets with better tariffs. However, the production and customer segment saw its profitability decline by 10%, due to both the additional costs of complementary services for the reinforced operation of the system in the Iberian Peninsula and lower prices.
It should be noted that Iberdrola’s network business has boosted the Spanish company’s results and is expected to exceed €6.6 billion in profits in 2026. At its next shareholders’ meeting, the energy company will propose a supplementary dividend payment of €0.427 per share, in addition to the €0.253 per share paid on 2 February as an interim dividend. It is therefore proposing a dividend of €0.68 per share.
