Morocco captured its first-ever FIFCO World Corporate Champions Cup titles during the 2025 edition of the tournament, held for the first time in Africa at the Maracana Sports Complex in Fes.
Ventec, three-time winners of the National Corporate Championship (2023, 2024, and 2025) and World Cup qualifiers in Crete, secured victories in both the 25+ and 35+ categories, defeating Oman in both finals.
In the 25+ category, Ventec Casablanca faced Gabon in Sunday morning’s quarterfinal, winning 3-0 after a competitive match. Later that afternoon, they met Mali in the semifinals. Despite Mali’s strong physical performance, the match ended 0-0, and Morocco advanced after a tense 9-8 penalty shootout.
In the evening final, Morocco faced Oman ASYAD. The Moroccan side scored in the first half and held on to win 1-0, clinching the historic title.
In the 35+ category, two Moroccan teams met in the semifinals Sunday morning, with Ventec +35 from Benguerir defeating EWCP 2-1 to reach the final. That afternoon, Ventec beat Oman Legends 3-0 in a dominant display to secure Morocco’s second championship of the tournament.
The Moroccan teams enjoyed strong support on the final day, with Ventec’s vice president, general director, and fans traveling from across the country to cheer them on. The celebrations continued after the matches, with players and supporters dancing to traditional Moroccan Dakka Marrakchia in a festive atmosphere marking their first-ever World Cup triumph.
Ansamble Maroc, also competing in the 25+ category, fell short of the semifinals after a 2-1 loss to Mali earlier in the day. The match was highly contested, with the Malian players showing remarkable endurance and physical strength.
