Morocco has launched a pilot program for digital service kiosks aimed at expanding access to public services, as part of efforts to modernize administration and improve service delivery, state TV channel 2M reported.
Led by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform in partnership with the General Directorate for National Security and ONCF, the initiative will begin with installations in major train stations across Rabat, Casablanca, Tangier, and Marrakech.
The first phase targets transport hubs with high passenger volumes to maximize accessibility for citizens. The kiosks allow users to access services through their electronic national identity cards for secure digital identification and authentication.
The platform will gradually expand to include a wider range of public services.
The project is part of Morocco’s broader digital transformation agenda, including the “Morocco Digital 2030” strategy and the “AI Made in Morocco” initiative, which is intended to build a more competitive and sovereign digital ecosystem.
